Age 20s Goals
At this age the goal is simple, PREVENTION. Build your foundation and start banking collagen in your mid to late 20s.
Other skin goals you may have: improving brightness, tone, texture, redness, acne, dark spots, hyperpigmentation.
MUST DO in your 20’s:
Vitamin C (1-2x daily as tolerated)
Moisturizer (morning and night)
Sunscreen/SPF (every morning)
Serum for Redness/Spots - optional, if needed
Salicyclic Acid - optional, for acne
Benzoyl Peroxide - optional, for acne
Retinoid - optional, for acne, consider starting after age 25 to help ‘bank’ collagen
**ONLY START ONE NEW PRODUCT AT A TIME. Use it 1 time a week at first, as tolerated. If you are not irritated, you can increase frequency. After about a week you can start adding a new product. Too many products can be irritating so if this is happening, back off. Give your skin a break. Only make one change at a time to your regimen.

Sample Daily Regimen:
Try this regimen daily and adjust it to your needs as tolerated.
WHAT NOT TO MIX:
Vitamin C + Retinoid = OKAY but need to make sure you tolerate each on its own before you mix, careful with mixing ACTIVE vitamin C if you have sensitive skin, try inactive vitamin C at night instead.
Retinoid + Exfoliating acids = can combine with caution, if you can tolerate, prob best to exfoliate 2-3 times a week
Retinoid + Benzoyl Peroxide = Don’t combine. Benzoyl peroxide can oxidize the retinol and render in useless. Even in cleanser form. Alternate nights, benzoyl 3 nights a week and retinol other nights if needing to use benzoyl peroxide for acne
Benzoyl peroxide + Vitamin C = makes vit C ineffective, Use your vitamin C in the morning and Benzoyl peroxide at night
Vitamin C + copper peptides = copper peptides inactivate vitamin
Azelaic Acid sometimes irritating when mixed with acids, retinoids, kojic acid
